Punch designs!

Here's a look at some at the first 10 designs. I have created about 100 now, and these have been numbered in no particular order. The first design I completed with the new punches was a 3D butterfly, which you will get to see at some stage, I just have to find the time to photograph and upload these!

My punch storage

I thought I had better share with you may punch collection and the way I store these!
I have all my Punch's out so that I can see them, for me I have found this works the best for me, as this way I can see what I have and I come up with ideas a lot quicker this way!
There are lots of ways you can put up shelves, ready made ones from IKEA are great, pieces of wood with "L" brackets work too! Mine are stored on some old grid mesh shelving, with wooden planks sitting on the hooks. This way I have not needed to attach anything to the wall, used some of my old shop fittings, and been able to use up dead space where the garage door is. Yes, I have a whole garage as my crafting space! I out grew the large bedroom I was using, and if I keep going the way I am, we will have to move so I have more crafting space! A problem that all us crafters share, never enough storage room!!!
I have done about 100 designs over the past few weeks, with many more ideas floating around in my head, the hardest part is finding the time to do these, lets just say the housework is needing some attention!!!

Below is a photo of my storage before adding all the punches, and wooden planks.

Below are a couple of photos of my storage, once all the punches are added.

Punch storage

I promised a few pictures of different way to store your punches, so here you go. There are several diffrent ways to store punches, depending on how much space you have, how many punches you have and in which way you like to sort your punches.
If you only have up to about 30 punches, I love the small sets of draws that sit on the table/desk top. These can be sorted in sizes, or in shapes. I like to store my circles and squares in one draw, animals in another and things like bottles, feet and shapes in another.
If your punch collection is larger than this, up to about 80 punches, the larger draws that are free standing are great. Your ounches can be sorted the way you like into the different draws, and in the way that suits you.
My favourite way to store my punches is out, so I can see them! I hate wasting time looking thru my draws as I tend to forget which styles and ounches I have!!
So I find the best way to do this is to have shelves that your punches can sit on, this way yuou can sort by style, or punch size. Get hubby to attach several shelves above your work space so that you can add more as your collection grows!

Small draws.

Larger, free standing draws.
